NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – DeVry Medical International (DMI), a subsidiary of DeVry Inc., (NYSE: DV), announced today that it plans to relocate the Medical Education Review Program (MERP) from its current location in Freeport, Grand Bahamas, to South Florida. Officials from DMI met with government officials in the Bahamas to inform them of the plan and to voice appreciation for their support during the program’s three years in the Bahamas.

MERP is a 15-week review program designed to prepare aspiring medical students to succeed in medical school, and help determine their readiness to meet the demands of a fast-paced and rigorous medical school curriculum.

DMI plans to relocate the program at the end of November. The decision was made to ensure the program’s competitiveness and attractiveness to new students, most of whom are residents of the United States.
